Express PCR, part of a multi-test, includes Influenza A&B, RSV, and SARS-CoV-2.

At our Medical Clinic on Ermou 18 Str, Syntagma Square, inside the arcade, we test for SARS-CoV-2, causing COVID-19.

Every result document comes with the required QR code.

We offer two coronavirus test types:

Rapid (antigen) test: This test uses an immuno-assay method to detect virus surface proteins. It’s quick, providing results within minutes.
PCR test: This test identifies specific viral genes by multiplying RNA. Lab processing takes at least 3 hours.
Key laboratory test factors:

Sensitivity: Measures certainty in negative results.
Specificity: Measures certainty in positive results.
Rapid (Antigen) Test:

Sensitivity = 92% (8% false negatives)
Specificity = 98% (2% false positives)

PCR Test:

Sensitivity = 98% (2% false negatives)
Specificity = 100% (No false positives)

Result Delivery:

We send all tests to the recipient’s email.
Rapid tests: Within 1 hour.
PCR test results: Same day.
EXPRESS PCR test: 40 minutes post-sample collection.

You don’t need to book an appointment for your test. 

However it is essential to insert your personal details (name, passport number etc.) in our system by yourself.

This can be done in two ways:

• As soon as you come to our Clinic, using your cellular phone, or the keyboard available outside our office. Our personnell will be happy to assist you.
